NEW YORK and WASHINGTON, November 4, 2013. Law Street Media today announced the launch of its innovative and community-based website, www.LawStreetMedia.com. The multimedia website provides a comprehensive hybrid of legal news and resources for students, young professionals, and everyone who’s interested in law and public policy.
Law Street Media’s website was designed over the summer by two teams working out of the new company’s offices in Washington and New York. Competing at first, the 16 members of the founding team (which has since grown to 25) eventually joined together to create a site reflecting the market’s needs and their own diverse interests. Law Street Media is launching with a dedicated legal job board, crime rankings and statistics, pro-con issues reporting, Join-the-Jury topical debating, and a variety of provocative blogs to inform and entertain. LawStreetMedia.com connects law students and young professionals with businesses and firms, and provides a forum for legal community building and debate. “Law schools and the legal industry are undergoing major changes and Law Street Media will be at the forefront, delivering a fresh perspective on today’s legal trends and issues,” said Founder and CEO John A.
